Elena Jones is an artist from Detroit, Michigan, whose work is inspired by life in an age of collapse between real and artificial. Her practice explores the shifting boundaries between human and machine,  physical and digital, and memory and simulation. The colorful neon aesthetic, film references, and grainy airbrushed quality emerges from a nostalgia for a 1980s cyberpunk future that doesn’t exist.

Jones is currently based in Savannah, GA, where she is pursuing her MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design.
